BetterHeart Heart Education — model sources and modifications 1. Cardiovascular mesh subset Source: Dr. Murat Altun, Anatomi Simülatörü, systems/dolasim.glb https://github.com/DrMuratAltun/anatomi-simulatoru Underlying atlas: Z-Anatomy — The libre 3D atlas of anatomy https://www.z-anatomy.com/ https://github.com/Z-Anatomy/Models-of-human-anatomy Underlying data: BodyParts3D, The Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS) https://lifesciencedb.jp/bp3d/ License: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Original BodyParts3D: CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.1/jp/ 2. Four chamber cavities and anterior mitral/tricuspid leaflets Source: BodyParts3D, DBCLS, via jixiangying/anatomy https://github.com/jixiangying/anatomy Original assets: FJ2420.obj, FJ2421.obj, FJ2422.obj, FJ2423.obj, FJ2424.obj, FJ2425.obj. Shared posterior leaflet FJ2432.obj was used as an alignment reference. License: CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan. Modifications by BetterHeart: extract heart-associated structures; transform and rescale to a shared coordinate system; align original cavity and leaflet meshes by the common posterior mitral leaflet; trim the displayed inferior vena cava and descending thoracic aorta; pack coordinates and indices into heart-meshes.bin with a descriptive heart-manifest.json; recolor for education. The adapted mesh data (heart-meshes.bin and heart-manifest.json) is shared under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International. Source mesh names and the transformation are retained in heart-manifest.json. Nerve paths, blood-flow particles, and right-heart catheter paths are original educational schematics, not atlas-derived anatomical surfaces or patient data. Leaflet meshes are static. Chordae and fine nerves are not fully modeled. Clinical disease/device cutaway demonstrations have been removed. Papillary/chordal apparatus: branching chordae and a supplemental left ventricular papillary muscle are original teaching geometry. The original atlas papillary meshes are retained, and their tips deform with ventricular contraction.
