BetterHeart Lipid Metabolism 3D — model sources and modifications Mesh sources: Dr. Murat Altun, Anatomi Simülatörü, systems/ic-organlar.glb (internal organs), lenf.glb (lymphatic), dolasim.glb (circulatory), kas.glb (muscular), iskelet.glb (skeletal) https://github.com/DrMuratAltun/anatomi-simulatoru Underlying atlas: Z-Anatomy — The libre 3D atlas of anatomy https://www.z-anatomy.com/ Underlying data: BodyParts3D, The Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS) https://lifesciencedb.jp/bp3d/ License: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Original BodyParts3D: CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan Required BodyParts3D attribution: "BodyParts3D, Copyright© The Database Center for Life Science licensed by CC Attribution-Share Alike 2.1 Japan" Full attribution chain and licence review: ../heart-anatomy/THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt Z-Anatomy's own README lists the "Kidney" model (Lissie Cowley) as CC BY-NC 4.0, which is not compatible with CC BY-SA publication. Therefore the atlas kidney meshes are NOT used here: they were removed from lipid-body.bin/json (2026-11-01) and the two kidneys are drawn by BetterHeart as a schematic in lipid-kidney.js (kidneys with hilum, adrenal glands, renal arteries/veins, renal pelves and ureters, placed against the atlas aorta and IVC). Modifications by BetterHeart: select the liver (kidneys excluded, see above), gallbladder, stomach, small and large intestine, pancreas, spleen, lungs, greater omentum, heart chambers, the aorta and its coeliac / mesenteric / iliac / femoral branches, the venae cavae, portal, hepatic, brachiocephalic, subclavian and jugular veins, right thigh muscles and trunk / pelvic bones; bake node transforms; weld vertices; rescale; compute vessel centre-lines; pack into lipid-body.bin with lipid-body.json; recolor and render semi-transparently for education. The thoracic duct and cisterna chyli are not part of the atlas: they are drawn by BetterHeart along the front of the atlas vertebrae as an educational schematic. Build script: tools/build-body.mjs. Lipoprotein particles, liver-cell scene, pathways and timing are original educational schematics (© 2026 Tien-Chi Huang, MD), not patient data.
